Many housewives prepare a homemade mayonnaise using a blender, juicer or a mixer with a suitable nozzle. We suggest using the good old way, namely, whipping the mayonnaise with a whisk.

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard
  • pinch of sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 100 ml of olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice

For the preparation of mayonnaise, we need one egg yolk, which we whisk well with a whisk with mustard, salt and sugar. In the finished homogeneous mass, gradually pour olive oil (can be replaced with sunflower, or it can be combined in a 1: 1 ratio) oil. The secret of this mayonnaise is that it needs to be beaten not too quickly and not too slowly. As soon as the received mass begins to stick to the corolla, it is possible to consider mayonnaise ready. To make it light, but not white (remember, homemade mayonnaise is not ideally white, like a store), add a little lemon juice, apple or balsamic vinegar.

  • 150 ml of sunflower oil
  • 0.5 tsp. mustard
  • 0.5 tsp. salt
  • 0.5 tsp. Sahara
  • 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice

Preparing homemade mayonnaise in a blender is a simple task. There is no need to monitor the consistency, the amount of oil and other details. It is enough to pour all the ingredients into the container in order and lower the blender attachment there. The secret is in the nozzle, which for a short period of time whip the ingredients, turning them into the desired mayonnaise mass.

Gourmets love to experiment and prepare mayonnaise on quail eggs. His recipe is also very simple.

Ingredients:

  • 6 quail eggs
  • 150 ml of sunflower oil
  • 0.5 tsp. salt
  • 0.5 tsp. Sahara
  • 0.5 tsp. mustard
  • a pinch of black ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice
  • greens to taste

Eggs, salt, sugar, mustard and pepper are mixed and beaten with a blender for a minute. Then add a little sunflower oil until the mayonnaise thickens. In the ready-made mayonnaise, add the juice of lemon, once again whisk and mix with greens. The resulting mixture is placed in the refrigerator, so that it thickens. The difference between this recipe and the standard mayonnaise is that it is not chicken but quail eggs that are used. They say they are more gentle and useful. But it’s better to rely on your own taste.

To make the mayonnaise thick and tasty it is very important that all the ingredients used for its preparation are fresh and at room temperature.
